Tyndale’s New Believer’s Bible Hits Milestone

Tyndale House Publishers announced that its New Believer’s Bible has been sold to 10 million new Christians in the country. With this milestone, this Bible version received a Diamond Award by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, reports Christian Post.

The New Believer’s Bible was released in 1996 and it aims to be the go-to book for people who are new to the faith. It uses the New Living Translation, with insightful notes from Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California.

“We’re also delighted that new Christians are able to deepen their relationship with God through His Word in both print and digital form, as well as in Spanish and Portuguese,” said Dave Thornton, Tyndale House Bible Brand Director.

Thornton revealed that in March and April, 35,000 people expressed their “desire to follow Jesus Christ.”

Tyndale’s sales hit is a most welcome news after a Pew Research survey found a decline in Americans adhering to the Christian faith.

Pastor Greg shared that a new edition of the New Believer’s Bible was released early this year. “I could not be more grateful for the chance to introduce this Bible to a new generation…of new believers.”

The company hopes the New Believer’s Bible will reach more new Christians in the future.
